Outcome of the public consultation on the draft EFSA Guidance on dermal absorption

EFSA was asked by the Commission to revise the guidance on Dermal Absorption, issued in 2012, on the basis of the evaluation of new data on human in vitro dermal absorption made available by ECPA and BfR. After endorsement by the PPR Panel, a public consultation was initiated in December 22nd 2016 until February 24th 2017. The Authority received 259 comments, covering the body of the guidance and appendices. All the comments were discussed by the working group. This technical report provides all the comments received by the Authority, the answer proposed by the working group as well as the actions taken, i.e. changes to the text of the guidance, where needed, or notes taken for comments considered out of the scope of the mandate.
