Outcome of public consultations on the draft Scientific Opinions of the EFSA Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies (NDA) on Dietary Reference Values for biotin and pantothenic acid

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) carried out public consultations to receive input from the scientific community and all interested parties on two draft Scientific Opinions on Dietary Reference Values (DRVs) for biotin and pantothenic acid, prepared by the EFSA Panel on Dietetic Products, Nutrition and Allergies (NDA Panel) and endorsed by the Panel for public consultation at its Plenary meeting on 11 October 2013. The written public consultations for these documents were open from 4 November 2013 to 16 December 2013. No comments were received by EFSA. The Scientific Opinions on Dietary Reference Values for biotin and pantothenic acid were adopted without changes at the NDA Plenary meeting on 5 and 6 February 2014, and are published in the EFSA Journal.
