Summary
This webinar aimed to provide an overview of the EFSA toolkit for plant pest surveillance and describe the statistical framework for risk-based surveillance. In particular, presenters illustrated the steps involved in the design of delimiting and buffer zone surveys following a pest outbreak, including a demonstration of the statistical tool RiBESS+ applied to the surveillance of three pilot organisms.
During the webinar presenters and contributors responded (orally and in writing) to questions submitted by participants. Questions and answers have been recorded and answers to outstanding questions will be sent to attendees in due time.
