Public consultation on the draft of the revised Guidance Document on Risk Assessment for Birds and Mammals

EFSA's Panel on plant protection products and their residues (PPR Panel) has launched an open consultation on the draft of the revised Guidance Document on Risk Assessment for Birds and Mammals under Council Directive 91/414/EEC. This document intends to provide guidance to notifiers and Member States on how to conduct a risk assessment for birds and mammals in the context of the review of active substances for inclusion in Annex I of Directive 91/414/EEC.

Interested parties are invited to submit written comments by 27 January 2008. The outcome of this consultation will be taken into account during the finalisation of the revised Guidance Document. Please use exclusively the electronic template provided with the documents for submission of comments and refer to the line numbering. Comments submitted by email or via surface mail cannot be taken into account.
