Background:

EFSA currently employs over 560 staff members, recruited from the various member states of the European Union. As Community body, EFSA is committed in supporting the integration of new staff members in the Italian territory.  The Human Capital Unit in EFSA would like to support and accelerate integration of staff in the hosting country by offering Italian courses for foreigners to its new hires. EFSA is hiring an average of 25 non-Italian staff members a year.

Objectives:

The aim of this procurement procedure is to conclude a framework contract for four years with one contractor, for the delivery of Italian language courses to newly recruited EFSA staff.

The expected outcome of the Italian language courses for foreigners is to enhance the basic language skills, supporting their integration in Italy and accelerating relocation to Parma.

To this end, the main focus of the language course should be on acquiring language skills for a smooth relocation to Parma and for daily life conversations in Italian.
