Abstract

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) was asked by the European Commission to compile the monitoring results of oxadixyl residues in fresh and/or unprocessed frozen food produced within the Union and tested in the reference period 2012 and 2013. Approximately 68 000 monitoring results on oxadixyl residues were provided to EFSA in the framework of Article 31 of Regulation (EC) No 396/2005 for the food products covered by the request. Analytical measurements of oxadixyl in unprocessed food samples were reported by all the 29 reporting countries (27 Member States, Iceland and Norway). Residues of oxadixyl at or above the Limit of Quantification (LOQ) were reported for 31 samples; the positive detections referred to seven different food types, all of plant origin. None of the 31 samples contained residues exceeding the Maximum Residue Levels (MRL).
