Abstract
This scientific opinion of EFSA deals with the risk assessment of the substance bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)carbodiimide, CAS No. 2162-74-5, REF. No. 13303 (which replaces the former Ref. No. 38875) for which the CEF Panel concluded that there is no safety concern for the consumer as far as the sum of migration of bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)carbodiimide and its hydrolysis product 2,6-diisopropylaniline do not exceed 0.05 mg/kg food.
