Abstract
This scientific opinion of EFSA deals with the risk assessment of the polymeric additive (butadiene, styrene, methyl methacrylate) copolymer cross-linked with 1,3-butanediol dimethacrylate, REF. No. 40560 for which the CEF Panel concluded that there is no safety concern for the consumer if the substance is used only up to 12% w/w in rigid poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) materials at room temperature or below.
