Abstract
This scientific opinion of EFSA deals with the risk assessment of the additive (polyethylene terephthalate, hydroxylated polybutadiene, pyromellitic anhydride) copolymer, REF. No 79987 and the FCM substance No 979 for which the CEF Panel concluded that the use, up to 5% w/w in polyethylene terephthalate is not of safety concern.
